Going forward, the Valguero "Free-for-All" map has been fully integrated into the cluster with full transfers allowed on/off. Additionally, the rotating Extinction/Scorched Earth server will be a PvP "Free-for-All" map. With great rewards, come great risks. Max level tames on these servers is 210.
Consequently, it is important to note the following:
Free-for-All PVP means that you should avoid using profanity and inappropriate names (for your player and tribe). Otherwise, anything goes.
Limited PVP means that the Rules section applies to your conduct while on those servers.
Let me present two hypothetical situations.
- You normally play on the Free-for-All map(s) and decide to visit one of the Limited PVP servers. You carry on with your normal wanton destruction, murdering indiscriminately and wiping bases. I will ban you and likely delete your tribe from the server.
- Someone from the Limited PVP Server comes over and murders you on a Free-for-All map and steals all your cookies. You can retaliate on the Rules server, but keep in mind that your PVP actions will have to conform to the Rules. Or, I will ban you and likely delete your tribe from the server.
Now if a situation arises where someone - cleverly - finds a loophole to grief people going between the map variants, I will probably qualify that as "being a dick" and ban you for the health and well-being of the server. Keep in mind, it's Maestro's server. You're a guest.
The take-away here is that you should behave appropriate to the server that you are on, regardless of where you make your home.
Decide how you want to play. If you want carnage and anarchy, make Valguero your home. If you want less uncertainty (but not total immunity from being raided), the Island and Aberration will welcome you.
Genesis will remain a Rules-governed server because it is new.
